Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and responding to clinical changes immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge instructions, and health promotion.
- Assist in triage and emergency response situations to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maryland.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Certification in area of specialty (e.g., CCRN, BLS, ACLS) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
