Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse, you will serve as the primary advocate for our patients' health. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care. This entry-level position is perfect for new graduates eager to learn from experienced leaders in the field.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and medical status, identifying changes that require immediate medical attention.
- Document patient care services in medical records in accordance with legal standards and hospital protocols.
- Provide patient education and health promotion activities to empower patients and their families.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to emergent situations with composure, applying critical thinking and nursing judgment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (BSN preferred).
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
