Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care: Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and document patient progress accurately.
- Assist with daily living activities: Support patients with hygiene, mobility, and daily routines in a compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with the care team: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Manage patient records: Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to update patient information and maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all hospital policies and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide patient education: Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Graduation: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred for certain units.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer skills and ability to navigate electronic health record systems.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks as needed.
