Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and established hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or abnormalities to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
