Responsibilities
- Assess patient health history and current condition to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and respond to medical emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical-surgical setting.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN/ASN) preferred.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
