Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient health status continuously, identifying changes in condition and intervening promptly.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, vital signs, and care interventions in the electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
