Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin (or eligible for licensure).
- Recent nursing graduate or graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
