Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of charge nurses and physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and patient health status, reporting any changes immediately.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist patients with daily living activities and hygiene needs with dignity and respect.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in shift handovers and unit huddles to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Willingness to complete additional training and orientation programs.
