Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and monitor patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to solve problems.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (or compact state) by the start date.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ASN, BSN, or Diploma) required.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required by the role.
- Willingness to relocate to Florida for this position.
