Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Perform comprehensive health assessments and record patient medical histories accurately.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Vital Monitoring: Monitor patient conditions, record vital signs, and document changes in patient status.
- Patient Education: Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff to ensure optimal care delivery.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
