Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Monitor patient health status, administer medications, and document vital signs and changes in condition accurately.
- Clinical Care: Provide direct patient care and implement nursing care plans as prescribed by physicians.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Emergency Response: Respond immediately to patient emergencies and assist in maintaining a safe environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with hospital standards.
- Education: Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and preventative care.
Qualifications
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn.
