Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical units with adaptable shift schedules
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- 1+ years acute care nursing experience preferred
- Flexible availability to cover day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient-centered care and cultural sensitivity
