Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment and organizing instruments.
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures.
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, weight).
- Perform basic laboratory duties, including phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Manage patient intake, updating Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Provide education to patients regarding medications and post-care instructions.
- Ensure the medical facility maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical software are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hiring.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
