Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy as directed.
- Manage patient check-in processes, including insurance verification.
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records in the EHR system.
- Greet patients warmly and address inquiries with professionalism.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but willing to train.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and electronic health records.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients as needed.
