Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse clinical units with adaptable scheduling
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Document patient assessments and care plans in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient outcomes
- Educate patients/families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- ADN or BSN from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS required for specialty units
- Ability to rotate between day/night shifts and weekends
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
