Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide critical care interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility safety policies
Qualifications
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or specialty setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize critical situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
