Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and monitoring throughout the shift.Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and adjust patient care plans.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.Assess patient conditions continuously and communicate significant changes to nursing leadership immediately.Support patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discare instructions.Ensure strict compliance with hospital safety standards, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Commitment to patient safety, dignity, and privacy.
