Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all changes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, discharge instructions, and disease prevention.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue alerts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (Travel experience preferred for NC roles).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Computer proficiency and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
