Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with established nursing protocols and facility standards.
- Monitor patient health status, administer medications and treatments, and document all clinical observations accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge processes, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred (Travel/Home Health experience a plus).
- Strong computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
