Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all changes accurately and promptly.
- Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (Critical Care preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting.
