Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and support as directed by the nursing team and facility protocols.
  • Monitor patient health status, recording vital signs and symptoms accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and medications via IV lines as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist in rapid response initiatives to ensure patient safety.
  • Document all patient interactions, care provided, and patient responses to treatments in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with infection control standards.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (ACLS preferred for high-acuity units).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (Agency/Travel experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
