Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light medication management.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal preparation based on dietary restrictions.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Foster a warm, safe, and engaging environment through companionship and conversation.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a safe living space.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not always required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for elder care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
