Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document patient care, symptoms, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical situations.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families.
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California (CA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (travel/experience in Med-Surg or ICU is a plus).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
