Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process for remote appointments.
- Measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) accurately.
- Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
- Assist providers with basic medical procedures and examinations under supervision.
- Update and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and patient charts.
- Answer patient inquiries via phone or secure messaging platforms promptly.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and send appointment reminders.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus but not required.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service.
- Must be willing to complete on-the-job training.
