Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care and assess patient health needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly and effectively.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New graduates may be considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
