Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any anomalies to the nursing staff immediately.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure patients' rooms and living spaces are clean, safe, and organized to promote a healing environment.
- Communication: Serve as a vital link between patients, families, and the healthcare team, documenting observations and providing updates.
- Assistance: Transport patients to and from medical appointments or therapy sessions as required.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid CNA License in the state of Arizona required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital, assisted living facility, or home health setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients weighing up to 250 lbs; ability to stand for extended periods.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
