Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care: Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans under the supervision of physicians.
- Monitor patient status: Continuously evaluate vital signs and update medical records to reflect changes in patient health.
- Collaborate with the care team: Communicate effectively with doctors, specialists, and other nursing staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Manage flexible schedules: Adapt to varying shift patterns, including day, night, and weekend rotations to meet facility staffing needs.
- Educate patients: Instruct patients and their families on post-procedure care, medication adherence, and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- License: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Compassion: Demonstrated empathy and ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure.
