Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough physical assessments, monitor vital signs, and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing patient conditions.
- Health Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
