Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs and changes in medical condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (travel nursing experience is a plus).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
