Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and high-quality patient care in various clinical settings.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document vital signs accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans.
- Monitor for adverse reactions to medications and notify the appropriate medical staff immediately.
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation efficiently.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (travel or per diem experience preferred).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions under pressure.
