Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff while adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of TN or GA.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred, depending on unit assignment.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
