Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions, document vital signs, and monitor medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments following strict medical protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient care activities, including changes in patient status, in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healing environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
