Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Lead patient education initiatives for chronic disease management
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and NC Board of Nursing standards
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment skills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years of acute care experience in Med/Surg or ICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required upon hire)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to cultural competency
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
