Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document electronic health records accurately
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- 1-3 years recent acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
