Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols and hospital regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and progress, alerting physicians and staff to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
