Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and established protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and patient safety as the priority
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit performance metrics
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact license with AZ residency)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years recent acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
