Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and legal standards.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and healing environment by adhering to strict infection control and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg or ICU experience highly valued).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
