Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, documenting all observations accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and self-care management.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist in code blue procedures when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
