Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive, individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and intervene promptly if complications arise.
- Document patient care services in medical records in accordance with legal standards and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient education and health coaching to promote recovery and wellness.
- Respond to emergent situations with speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
