Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions and administer prescribed medications and treatments in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient care services, including vital signs, medications administered, and progress notes, accurately and promptly.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and urgent patient needs within the nursing scope of practice.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Georgia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
