Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Document all clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EHR system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of New Mexico.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
