Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical standards.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes in condition to the healthcare team immediately.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation of all patient encounters and care provided.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control policies, and hospital procedures.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
