Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
