Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nurse practitioners.
- Document patient progress, clinical findings, and care plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
