Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on best practices.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient health status continuously and respond immediately to critical changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, vital signs, and progress notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all infection control policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EHR) systems.
