Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Document patient care services in medical records in accordance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
