Responsibilities
- Assess Patient Health: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor patient conditions to identify changes that require immediate medical attention.
- Administer Care: Execute nursing interventions, including medication administration, wound care, and treatment plans as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies within the facility to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
