Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other health team members.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the attending physician.
  • Provide direct patient care, including dressing changes, wound care, and patient hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication management.
  • Document patient care services in accordance with legal standards and facility protocols.

Qualifications

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
