Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor patient conditions and document assessments accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience in hospital setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC experience a plus)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
