Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and surgical services
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EHR systems
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO standards and regulatory requirements
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking and calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
